Key Person – You and your child will receive support from an experienced member of our staff, responsible for your child’s individual needs, known as your child’s Key Person. The Key Person will build up a relationship with you and your child to ensure your child’s experience of Pre-School is a happy and successful one. Although the Key Person will be your main point of contact, all staff will be happy to give feedback on your child’s progress and discuss any concerns with you. The Key Person will also monitor and keep confidential records of your child’s progress and achievements. These records are available for you to see, discuss and contribute towards.
Special Educational Needs - Chipping Norton Pre-School provides an environment in which all children are supported to reach their full potential. Debbie Rose and Ellen Bartoloni are appointed as our Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCo).
Parent and Carer Involvement - Parents and carers are important members of our Pre-School, with valuable knowledge and information to share about their children. We welcome you to join in with sessions, for example by reading to children or taking part in activities.
Curriculum – Children learn best through play. We provide a broad range of challenging and stimulating play activities, both in and outdoors, that promote children’s overall development. The EYFS provides a statutory framework for young children’s learning and development from birth. Our aim is to support each child to become secure, confident, imaginative and creative.
Policies and Procedures – We follow the Policies & Procedures that are set by the Pre-School Learning Alliance. We have them available for you to see at Pre-School should you wish to.
Directions and Parking – It is necessary for the safety of all the children and to meet with the terms of our lease, that parents do not drive into the Secondary School. Some parking is available at the front of the school. You should walk through the school gate and follow the path until you come to our building, a blue wooden building on the left hand-side. You can also reach us on foot by following the path that leads off Albion street up the side of the Ace Centre and to the Secondary School field.
Session Prices – Please contact us on 01608 643376, if you would like to discuss what sessions are available. We can also tell you what our current session prices are.
